My chaotic garden thrives; its ecology is full and rich. Birds flock to eat the abundant insects and seeds. Critters visit and stay on. The top soil is dark, damp, rich like compost writhing with worms. See, Nature is never stingy. It always creates more than it needs – more seeds, more weeds, more insects. My dad, this garden’s keeper for years gone past, planted too much. But now I have enough when chaos strikes, and plenty of green gifts for friends…
