For turning one on this infernal day Elektra receives three hose downs (in the nude) in our front yard and back verandah. She has no choice but to thoroughly enjoy the cooling water since today feels as though its 48 degrees.
Together we scrub the verandah with sugar soap and I get to wash her off after a particularly messy breakfast of mango and greek yoghurt.
In the meantime Keanu is struggling with the Bangalow heat, unable to fall asleep Erroll and Kingsley take him for a walk into town. Later Oma would introduce the little fella to milk shakes.
