Our 6 year old goes nuts chasing the twins about after dinner! We consulted a psychologist about this (and other things). Was clearly informed this is within the normal behavioural parameters of 6 year olds who have been excellent at school. They come home to their safe zone and expend all that energy they restrained whilst listening at school. Our psych said to let the child enjoy the safety of home and expressing himself in such physical play with his siblings. Its quite important actually. They’re enjoying their childhood she said. So now we enjoy the chaos too. We embrace it.
