A living angel swept down this morning to relieve me of a two hour early hours round trip carting three kids on various buses in order to deposit Kingsley at Bunnerong Gym for camp at 9am. That Angel is νονά Μαρούλα in her Porsche, her Godson rushing into her arms after a delicious and nutritious breakfast of one glass of milk + 3 eggs sunny side up + 2 grilled sausages + a squeezie greek yoghurt + an apple.
Ready and firing on all cylinders Kingsley makes it to camp on time and I am left to deal with the two hungry, needy, tired limpids whom I take out at 11am then return home with at 6:30pm. Meanwhile Kingsley receives a letter in the mailbox: a mathematical puzzle book plus letter from Mr. Townsend his school principal, which he discovers after school. Kingsley’s challenge: complete 2 sheets every morning and one at night then present his work to Miss Sanzari.
Excited beyond words to be singled out like this by Mr. Townsend and keen to get started, but can I begin tomorrow morning fresh, μπαμπά? he asks!
