<span;>Today is Earth Day, we spoke to yellow group about how important it is to keep our world safe and clean. We spoke about how rubbish on the land and in the oceans can be very harmful to animals and sea creatures. To help the children understand this we did an experiment with bi carb soda and vinegar, the two combined create a fizzy bubbly reaction which we pretended was all the rubbish and waste damaging the earth.
<span;>We first sorted the animals between land and sea and then used droppers to squirt out the vinegar on the tray. They loved it as it was very visual and had an instant reaction!
