Portraits

This photographer can boast that her pals are truly blessed in the beauty-stakes. Inside and out, that is; my friends are my muses and a constant stream of inspiration to shoot a variety of portraiture poses.

Now I shun the old-skool stiff poses. You know the ones: arms disjointedly placed, necks craned and smiles skewed. Try the opposite.  I am all about an easy posture, a bright countenance, a laid-back attitude. Throw in unusual backdrops, body parts inordinately covered, or even cropped (I know: controversial), and you have the makings of an emotive and expressive image that tells a tale about the person.
