As soon as dawn breaks my big boy surprises me with the most wonderful gift for mothers day: my portrait! I’ve two golden locks flowing down beside my ears, I wear a crown (for all the times I bashed into him ‘Kiss mumma’ s hand for I am your Queen’) and all facial features are represent (except mercifully these dreadful wrinkles).
By afternoon we’re all out at Coogee Beach kicking a ball around, flying a kite, holding running races and much to Kingsley’s astonishment he finds a πασχαλίτσα on a vast patch of grass. What are the odds?
