To be a Mumma who stays with her baby and has foregone a delicious monthly salary, means oftentimes ignoring that very female desire to dress well, groom often, wear fashionable clothes and buy new pieces. I used to do all of these things all the time. Now, not so much. However I do have a very stylish mother in law who gets what it’s like to want to look great (having reared two kiddies and during difficult financial times may I add).
So every few months I am delighted to say the least when my very own handsome carrier pigeon brings from Australia – when on layovers – care packages prettily wrapped, cards attached. For years now Tina has chosen dresses, tops, wraps, skirts, kaftans that suit my figure, attitude to life and personality. Today’s selection includes this drop dress made from the lightest cotton featuring a delicate design to draw the eye lengthways.
I feel pretty, and tall! Love it. Mumma’s new threads will be worn with pride. First destination will be tomorrow to the high tea held by Nobel Peace Prize winner and Dilma’s CEO Mr. Merrill Fernando held at the plush Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre Hotel. Watch this space!
