Sunday 7th June 2020
Poor babies are delirious by 3:30pm but Elektra won’t sleep even after an hour of trying and γιαγιά can only manage to offer Keanu quiet time on the couch. So they power on through to 6:30pm when Isaac’s mum Eve comes to fetch her son and praise be! Erroll arrives from his Melbourne flight.
Quick nappy changes, pyjamas, milk bottles, a fairy book (Sunshine Yellow), lights out, boring lullaby music and Elektra is in the slumber zone. Erroll puts Keanu to bed but I hear him cry and moonwalking out of Elektra’s room, I am now cuddling my baby boy to sleep. It’s 7:45pm and he’s snoring once again.
