I had you close to me all day today, wearing you on my long, early afternoon coastal walk with Claudia as you bobbed along passed out in the ErgoBaby. Not a peep we heard, so content you seem snuggled in even as we stop at a cliff facing bench for a feed.
Snuggled up close you are from the hours of 12noon till 7pm when I finally peel you out of the baby carrier and we prepare for bed. Tonight it’s me, you and Kingsley in his bed and we fall asleep under the magical spell weaved by the music of The Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies playing on loop.
But before then you accompany me to big bother’s Greek language class where we feed Kingsley bananas (you thoroughly enjoy the taste too!) Then play dress ups in the outfit Oma sent you…
