Baldness is inherited from the mother’s father. A 50% chance exists for a person to share the same X chromosome as his maternal grandfather. Because women have two X chromosomes, they have two copies of the androgen receptor gene, while men only have one.
Keanu has a peculiar hairline and I’ve wondered whether he’ll go bald. If he does it’ll happen – according to Erroll – by age 25. Even Angela Nicholson had a giggle about his hairline. Hugh her eldest son had at birth the same. Dave reckons he’ll go bald. Erroll’s male relativeshavr thick luxurious hair so it got me thinking how is male pattern baldness inherited.
