On the tenth day of Ramadan my Mumma gave to me…two bowls of porridge and a cupful of Greek yoghurt. Yippee!
According to Annabel Karmel porridge is an ideal breakfast food for 6-9 month babies. It is packed full of nutrients. Oats stabilize blood sugar and give long lasting energy our son needs as he plays up a storm at nursery. In our kitchen we stock an organic brand from Tasmania – Bellamy’s. And the boy relishes its taste. Apple and cinnamon. Mmm. I combine it with plain yoghurt to make a doughy cement mix of a consistency which King seems to savor, and which makes great subject matter for a morning photograph.
