A new friend has come over! Jensen Honey is now buddies with Kingsley Hartley. Both are sweet and kind, generous and helpful, wanting to make s good impression on the other, willing each other to be asked for the next Playdate, confused why this one only lasted an hour and fifteen minutes.
All morning we talk about Jensen coming over (that, and the bloody Ooshies Kingsley is obsessed with). Since Erroll is training and must leave home early Kingsley is all mine so I get to feed him up good for breakfast while chatting about which Ooshies he’s missing from the collection and what LEGO he’ll give Jensen. 2 eggs, 2 bananas, one apple, a glass of milk and a cheese & ham siur dough toastie. Kingsley gets all that and a delightful walk to school with just me no babies and we talk excitedly about Jensen his new class buddy.
Well the Hartleys do not disappoint the Honeys. This is what Anna the mum wrote me when they left:
Thanks for the icecreams, spaghetti, play, LEGO, ooshis and chat! Jensen has had the best afternoon! Let’s do it again soon.
