Catching the wooden abras across the Creek never gets old. We all enjoy its simple, invigorating pleasures. Kingsley’s a huge fan of the abra trip and more generally of the glorious historic Al Fahidi neighbourhood.
Its so easy to get too for us – the metro then a stroll down towards the Creek. In fact this time Kingsley scootered there. Al Fahidi metro station is on the corner of Khalid bin Al Waleed Street & Mussalah. All we did was head down Mussalah, past the fragrant Indian restaurants & spicy kebab shops to the final roundabout then choose left or right.
Today we chose left and onto the Shindagha heritage village. Creek to our right, museums on our left. Hours of walking in our beloved Dubai…
