Our Thursday morning activity is to write Νονά a letter of thanks. Kingsley is thrilled to do so! Its a lengthy note in a pretty Thank You card I had sitting, open, on the dining room table for when he woke. Erroll guided his sentences and sentiments but it was Kingsley’s penmanship which created the words. My job was to encourage a picture and sure enough he asks me to fetch his pencil case and in he dives firstly for the green (football oval is green mum), next blank and red for the flags, then in he draws two opponents (what colours are the Dolphins mum? Are we blue and yellow?). A referee blowing a whistle, then a big expanse of blue sky.
Its now ready for νονά.
