Our first wake-up together as a family. First words uttered by Kingsley upon waking ‘lets go outside and play with the ball, daddy.’

Last night he outright told Marina that he ‘loves Ba-Bāh more than mummà, right now’. He sure does love his daddy more what with that brand new Rebel Sports ball and getting to fall asleep together; I’m relegated to the couch.

We hit the beach today and although we felt a breeze, it is damn hot. I leave them play in the water, head to the supermarket for SPF and munchies (we’re hungry, I’m informed). All day (and yesterday) we’ve been seeing posters around Saronītha for the show and as a family treat on a Friday night we’re there. Sceptical that Kingsley would sit through the show Erroll allays my concerns. ‘Remember how he loved and sat through Lion King and Finding Nemo?

Highlight is watching Kingsley watch the stage actors and literally not budge from his seat. Interval time he stretches his legs, finds us seats closer to the stage then resumes his enthralled posture for Act II…
