Kingsley: Ramadan Day 21

Sunday 20th July 2014, 8PM

This is it! The count down to the end of Ramadan 2014 has begun. Just this working week remains till we are back to normal working hours (boo). But till then we have some joy: reduced hours stuck in the office and come this Thursday at precisely 2PM, a nine day holiday!

You see Eid just got called, and all government employees are granted five working days off. Sandwiched between two weekend starting this weekend this make nine days off! What a great thing to look forward too; relief from the horrors of being tethered to a desk for a whole nine days.

Relief from the hum drum of office life came this weekend just past too, when Kingsley and I paid a visit to our friends the Hassans. And didn’t our infant get smothered in affection by all his admirers…
