Can hardly call it work can I? A photoshoot at the Armani Hotel, Dubai: Cooking with the Chefs in their very own Hell’s Kitchen; Sampling the fare…sizzling the sea-bass on rosemary…plating up…finally waking my faculties with what cannot be at all labelled as mere “food” or “restaurant”, “table setting” or “service”. This place is a riot for the senses…
I walked into Armani, and I fell right into the comforting lap of Tuscan gastronomy…with a twist. Modern lines, sleek interiors, understated soft furnishings. But its the food interpreted in a modern way which caught me off guard. Oh and did I mention the charming decor and sterling flatware?
Armani Hotel Dubai boasts quietly of its fine outlets and impeccable wait staff who are confident, pleasant, groomed to within an inch of their necklines, and the opposite of obsequious. I’ll raise a glass to that.
