Kingsley: Blossoming

Aw this is too much for me to bear: in two days you, my darling one, turn five months of age. I cannot think that I could be any more in love and charmed by you than I am RIGHT NOW. Your fledgling personality is inspiring us to proceed unrepentantly with the style of parenting we are showering you with: attachment.

Our aim is to promote in you development of connection, trust, and confidence. Your bright eyes and keen senses have blossomed: there is whole world out there…and its very interesting!. You have starting to come out of your cocoon, interacting and engaging with me your Mumma, other people, and your environment more.

Over this last month our infant Kingsley has learned to grab objects, roll over, and lift his head.

He also started being more expressive at showing his pleasure and delight; and lets not get started on that lyrical voice! When he likes us bathing him, or dislikes us dressing him, or is curious about playing certain games, he lets us know. So sociable, smiley and happy to be passed around too.

Little King blossoms before our very eyes. As he watches the world unfold, so too do we watch him. Best view in the house!
