05-05-17 Souvlāki

For a second season in Saronītha Kingsley’s favourite hot meal is the pork (or chicken) souvlāki offered up plain at our local lpw key taverna Sympösio.  That is, grilled pita sprinkled with shavings of meat and stuffed with hot chips. This year we haven’t bothered ordering it with tzatzīki, tomato and onion. The kid wants plain and he enjoys it after school like a boss at his favourite table, in the shade, at Sympösio.
