Should my near two year old be allowed to watch the IPAD?
Probably not, my instinct says, but my practical side wins out every single day these days; Kingsley thoroughly enjoys listening and watching his cute nursery-age puppet shows, and we, the weary parents, buy crucial time to cook a meat pattie for his dinner (me), or complete some pre-flight work (Erroll).
Look, I am well aware that even apps that simulate conventional toys don’t teach children the crucial skills that come from physically engaging the world in three dimensions. And for this reason, IPAD use is limited, and outdoor activity is maximized. This kid’s got it all.
