Kingsley: Well Fed

7th July 2014

Here is the scene: It is 10:45pm and all is quiet at Casa Hartley.

Air conditioning on blowing a coolness over Kingsley who is splayed in the middle of our bed. His belly is stuffed from wholesome food I have been feeding him every couple of hours (such is his appetite): breakfast today was puree lamb casserole (thanks mum for preparing a pot of it last time you visited!). At nursery he is given carrot and banana mash – as many times as he wants. Then milky rice cereal goes down easily as a kind of bland dessert while the other babies are also fed. Natural yoghurt and plenty of milk he takes straight after his swims, and then at home he enjoys a couple of bowls of porridge. Burp.

Our boy is certainly well fed. And grows…

Just one day old, and already on the lookout for breast.
